nibbs

Glossary “nibbs” Definition:
Evenly spaced, small rubber like fingers extending from the bottom of the fuel pick-up tube on diesel powered vehicles. They set against the bottom of the fuel tank, causing a low pressure area at the fuel pick-up. This allows water to be drawn in and delivered to the water seperator, where it can be removed from the diesel fuel supply.
