Glossary “machinist’s rule” Definition:
A typical machinist’s rule is marked on both sides. One side is marked off at 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 and one-inch intervals. The other side is marked at 1/32 and 1/64 inch intervals. Also available in metric or decimal graduations.
